Mon Ami Louis Brasserie Restaurant was founded in 2015 by WOW Hospitality on the iconic Esplanade Riel. Our goal was to share approachable yet incredible French flavours—both classic and contemporary—with the St. Boniface community and the rest of Winnipeg.

With Chef Luc Jean at the helm, we opened in the summer and served up fresh, quality dishes true to their French inspiration. Favourite menu items like tartes flambées, crêpes, and fresh Manitoba fish were paired nicely with an incredible view of the Red River near Winnipeg’s largest tourism centre, The Forks.

Three years later, we’ve evolved our menu into a versatile and enjoyable canvas for everyone to enjoy. Perfect for dinner, brunch, or events, Mon Ami Louis is a must for anyone living in Winnipeg, or simply stopping by for a visit.
